About Certified Flight Instructor

What does a Certified Flight Instructor do?

We, the certified flight instructors, instruct pilots in flight techniques and procedures in flight training courses and ground schools. We prepare lessons and as certified flight instructors, monitor and evaluate students’ performances as to how they are getting the knowledge and skills regarding aircraft flying. We also evaluate students’ skills and knowledge and develop student’s strengths and weaknesses. We maintain competence flying all the time by continuous education and remaining up to date on the recent concepts. We also ensure proficiency in flying through training and practice.

  • ensuring the standard of performance and learning of students is effective
  • setting a practical test for students and recommending, endorsing, and evaluating students’ skills and knowledge
