What does a Certified Nursing Assistant do?

In the role of Certified Nursing Assistant, our primary responsibility is to provide care to the patients. We ensure that the medical tips of doctor’s orders are being implemented and followed properly. We coordinate the health care needs of patients with other staff members as well. As Certified Nursing Assistants, we are accountable for providing assistance in booking medical appointments. We are capable of taking emergencies and sick calls of patients. We support the nursing staff in providing long-term care facilities to the patients. We usually work in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and doctor’s clinics.

Core tasks:

  • helping patients with their problems
  • cleaning the patient’s beds
  • ensuring the purity of patient environment
  • assisting with the hygiene issues
