As certified tumor registrars, we are responsible for identifying, registering, and maintaining records of all patients by using a tumor registry data method. Our job tasks are analyzing data and releasing information to establish principled standards. We have to report to the supervisor regarding all sorts of details about patients. Our additional job tasks include supervising tumor registry staff. We also have to prepare statistical reports, narrative reports, and graphic presentations of tumor registry information for use by hospital and research staff.
