What does a Certified Welding Inspector do?

As Certified Welding Inspectors, we perform visual inspection on the welded steel which is to be used for construction purpose. It is our responsibility to detect any flaw in the welded steel. By performing Welding inspection we ensure safety and high-quality of welded steel and the structure it will be used to build. We also reject and document record of faulty pieces of steel whose welding is not up to the mark and may cause trouble in the near future. We are also responsible for approving repairs and making sure they meet the quality standards. Our key role is to verify the best way in which steel is welded for high-quality.

  • perform visual inspection on welded steel
  • reject flawed welds
  • document falsely welded steel
  • suggest improvements in quality of welds
