Roll your clocks back for this one. You'll be working in waterfall for each feature disguised as "releases" instead of sprints. No practical dev environment. Single point code review. No pairing. No relevant documentation. No test coverage other than the QA team physically testing the app. Team reviews are rubber stamps. Expect a minimum effort job due to poor time management and limited task delegation from management, but you'll get the bottom of the barrel tasks as the more senior team cherry picks the easy tasks for themselves. If you don't care about what you do, whether you get credit for it, or whether your code is anything above barely functional, this is the job for you. Someone who wants something low effort that they can phone in because they are cheesing the system will thrive here.

Pros and Cons
Easy schedule, they don't nitpick hours if you come in to the office the minimum 3 days.
Corporate community, smelly office with abominable bathrooms.

I started with Charter now Spectrum right after they came out of Ch 11, the general reputation of Charter and their network in the area were not the greatest. I worked with a great install team lead by Director Tim Lindsay and VP Gail Kodama and we changed things around. I displaced 20 different companies in the Gilroy, Morgan Hill area. Morgan Hill has a history of Outages, their Internet comes from San Jose. The city of internet has been completely down several times in the last few years. Charter Fiber completely changed that, call Sakata Seed, Anritsu, Gilroy USD, Morgan Hill USD, the list goes on and on. It's was a completely Team Effort

Pros and Cons
Great Construction and Management Team - they supported their Sales Reps
Not many, maybe pay, overall it was an awesome experience. turnaround

They don't think treat their contractors very well. You are not always part of the team. You are a contractor and known as such. People make comments that are not true. Management does not have your back.

Pros and Cons
Most people are very nice but there are some that thrive on causing problems
. As a contractor, you are dispensible, they have alot of turnover.

The company is great. You recieve alot of support every step of the way in training and afterwards. Awesome benefits package. The downside is there is no work life balance. You are assigned a schedule until you can bid for another one. There is the verbal harassment from customers, which the company can not control but you have to have tough skin to deal with it.

Pros and Cons
Friendly people great pay and excellent training
No work life balance harsh customers
