About Cheerleading Coach

What does a Cheerleading Coach do?

As Cheerleading Coaches, we are tasked with teaching young girls the basics of cheerleading after selecting age-appropriate dance moves. We are also tasked with choosing new members, creating new choreographies, organizing practice sessions, monitoring each cheerleader while supervising their warm-ups to avoid any potential injury. We select various dance routines and create performances involving the entire team to promote a teamwork spirit within the team. We also maintain adequate communication with their teachers and parents to facilitate travel to games and off-campus competitions.
