What does a Chemical Engineer do?

As Chemical Engineers, we are responsible for designing and troubleshooting processes for the production of chemicals and fuels. We are committed to improving processes and equipment used in the processing of chemicals and finding solutions to the problems of chemical industries. We analyze processes and data, perform research and tests, and develop plans to optimize plant operations. Implementing, analyzing, and improving processes for maximum production is part of our daily responsibilities. We use scientific and engineering principles to solve problems and design and review plan to ensure company goals are achieved. Working as Chemical Engineers, we observe production processes and conduct research to increase efficiency and quality.
