Professionally, I rose above many in a short time period. (Not boasting! Only tangible facts). I had been told so many times how Chevron would “back you” and your professional as well as personal/ family life was important to this far-left, liberal company. After a brutal separation from my wife, I underwent legal issues and when I needed them most, Chevron terminated my employment during mid-year 2016. This left me seeking bankruptcy and unable to afford proper divorce/ legal representation. We had always received a yearly performance bonus & and by my estimation, I am owed ~ $20,000. Some employees tout being “Chevronized”— only I think it’s nothing to brag about. On the positive side, there is better life after Chevron. At least I didn’t have the duty of raising the “Rainbow” flag at 1500 Louisiana St. in downtown Houston. May God save America.

Working at chevron in Fremont was pretty cool. It's an all in one gas station. Which means this chevron had everything. Gas, great car wash, and oil changes. If you worked on the oil station. You got the best bonuses ever. My brother had money all the time. Lol the car washers also got pretty good tips. So all in all not bad.

Managers did not follow basic public service policy (eating while working register) in addition they were rude to employees and did not support or train, “figure it out” was the Motto. It wasn’t difficult but the environment wasn’t good when managers were on site. Easy to run entire store/ pumps ALONE on late-night shifts.

Pros and Cons
Interaction with with regular customers.
Poor management, no direction or formal training
