Went from working in being a Store Visual (SV). To becoming an assistant store manager in the visual area. This all happened right before we went to lockdown from Covid. When Covid hit my store manager got sick and was forced to have no type of communication with any employees. She was gone from one day to another. At this point I was the first assistant manager she brought back after we reopened from Covid. I had to step up and manage the store and take the temporary store manager title. There was no direct communication from head office or field manager as to what was going on. I was asked if need to be if I was ready to take this position permanently. At the time of this happening I had no choice but to say yes. In a time of uncertainty upper field manager took advantage of the situation, i was working some times by my self from open to around 5am-2pm. I could not bring my team back. When i asked for my raise to the assistant manager role which I had been moved to, I was told no.

Pros and Cons
To my knowledge there were no pros
As leader 5am was my clock in time from home working to send emails to all my customers

Been there for over 10 years and rhe company just continue to go downhill. They don't care about their employees & will never back them up or support them. Upper management only care about themselves and not your family. They also pay very low, barely a raise & minimal room for advancement.

Pros and Cons
The co-workers
No work life balance, lack of support or understanding, low pay

It’s a good job with good pay. Customers are mostly nice. Opportunities for promotion. Product is easy sell. Training is a little shy of substance. Need more info and practice.

Pros and Cons
Good pay, good atmosphere, good products.
Long hours on phone.

Best part was having cocktails with co-workers after hours. Worst part was having to clean the dressing rooms after a guest urinated or defecated in them.

Pros and Cons
Fun colleagues, beautiful clothing and jewelry.
Low pay, making cold calls, small employee discount compared to other retail clothing stores.

I love Chicos clothes. There is no age limit for their style, and the best part of my day was helping my clients find clothing and accessories that made them feel beautiful. We got some terrific employee discounts, so my wardrobe was amazing!

Pros and Cons
Employee discounts
Pay and limited hours
