About CHIEF Engineer

What does a CHIEF Engineer do?

As Chief Engineers, we are responsible for all operations and maintenance of all engineering equipment and supervising engineering officers within the department. We are in charge of an entire engineering department and lead a team for completing various projects. We work with other engineers and technicians, approve designs, negotiate costs, and execute plans safely and efficiently. Supervising every phase of the project from start to completion is part of our daily responsibilities. We communicate the goals of a company to all engineers and professionals and calculate the cost, material, labor, and time required for each project. We approve project designs and budgets and delegate tasks to engineering teams. Working as Chief Engineers, we perform quality control checks on all systems and quickly resolve disputes among staff.
