ChildNet Youth and Family Services was created in 1970 by a group of civic leaders from Long Beach whose aim was to encourage the growth of troubled and impoverished youth in social, emotional, and educational terms. Since then, it has expanded from a single youth home serving an average of 100 boys per year to an agency of seven branches covering five counties, serving up to 12,000 customers per year. Their program philosophy reinforces personal responsibility with a mission to provide safe homes, education, and counseling to vulnerable children and families and emphasizes the need for a strong family unit. They strongly believe that in a stable, healthy, and nurturing home, every child deserves to live. With discretionary employer contribution after 2 years of service, Mileage Reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, Stability, and Career Advancement, together with generous sick, holiday and holiday time, they offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and 403b.
