It was nice working here for the few months that I did. It was a good easy job but sometimes they could care less about the employees. Once I ripped the back of my pants and they told me just to put my jacket around my waist and keep working they wouldn't let me leave for 30 minutes to change pants. Another time I had to take my child to the hospital but I was scheduled to work and I didn't go to work and they took me off the schedule and never put me back on so basically I got fired because I had to take care of my child.

Free lunch only while you're training or if you're working 6-8 plus hours a day.
Expect you to know everything and sometimes the costumers are very rude

I started at chillis its opening day,scared and really unsure but the managers and other waitresses and waiters ,just the entire attmoshere and training .i loved working for and with the chillis corp.they are truely word for word .they brung u in and train u and make u part if an amazing family.

Hopefully they have changed things since covid but extremely poor about sanitary issues always afraid somebody was going to get sick. Dishwasher rules on sanitation were routinely ignored and product expiration labels were just replaced every day no matter how old. Company always put labor costs ahead of safety. Felt they always set employees up for failure.

If you are looking to work as a Manager at Chili's I would consider passing on it. The area director has no idea on what he is doing and does not promote Managers to the General Manager position fairly, he plays favorites
