The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) is a professional organization for Chief Information Officers and other senior healthcare IT executives that was founded in 1991. CHIME provides opportunities for its members and business partners to interact, share ideas, grow professionally, and advocate for the effective use of information management to improve health and care in the communities they serve. Large hospital systems, community hospitals, for-profit hospitals, and tiny or rural hospitals are all represented by CHIME members. CHIME's strive to advance and serve healthcare executives and the industry by leveraging knowledge and technology to improve global health and care.
