Arthur left the farms of Iowa with a few coins in his pocket five years before beginning Chipman Moving & Storage in 1939, to find a better life in San Francisco. Arthur started transporting service members around the base in his pickup truck for extra money after having a steady job painting submarines at Mare Island Naval Base in 1935. Chipman Relocation & Logistics agrees that they must work with an eye for sustainability to fulfill their goal to provide their customers with superior value.
