Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization committed to making a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income persons by providing the assets and support required to find and retain employment. It empowers persons to overcome their obstacles and prepare for, achieve, and retain employment. It offers numerous resources, including a job-readiness curriculum, case management, resume preparation, access to computers, practice interviews, professional attire, and support groups. Chrysalis operates four centers that are situated where homelessness and poverty are most infectious: on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, Santa Monica, and Orange County. Its headquarters is situated in Los Angeles, CA, functioning as a Civic & Social Organization. Since 1984, is changing lives through providing jobs.
