Chugach Alaska is a privately held company and one out of fifteen Alaska Native Regional Corporations established in 1971 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. John Borodkin, Cecil Barnes, Vincent Kvasnikoff, Walter Meganack, and Mary Gordaoff founded the company, and its headquarters are stationed in Anchorage, Alaska, U.S., equipped with about 6,000 employees in 150 locations across the country. Chugach’s mission is to be committed to profitability while celebrating its heritage and its ownership of lands, achieving its goal through its dedication to advancing people with the help of benefits and meaningful shareholder programs. The company’s vision is to serve and improve the Alaska Native Community's lives daily, determined to build lifetime relationships full of trust.
