Cerritos, known as Dairy Valley, is a city in Los Angeles County, California, U.S., and is one of the cities that make up the southeast Los Angeles County Gateway Cities. On April 24, 1956, it was incorporated. The population was 49,859 as of 2019. It is part of the Regional Statistical Area of Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, California, designated by the Office of Management and Budget. Initially, Cerritos was populated by Tongva-owned Native Americans. The site is structured to provide information about the area.
