The city of Reno, founded in 1906, is a government administration. This biggest little city in the nation is becoming a vibrant university town known for our special events, outdoor activities, arts and culture, and innovative industries. The government agency headquarter is present in Reno, Nevada. The 1,300 employees of the city of Reno come to work every day devoted to creating a community better home for the citizens. It is located in the southern part of Washoe County, settled on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in an area called the Truckee Meadows. The Reno City Council has pinpointed the priorities strategically, where they should devote the City's financial resources, staffing, service delivery, and infrastructure development. These priorities include Thriving Downtown and University District, Vibrant Neighborhoods and Public Places, and Well-Managed Growth. Other priorities are Strong Financial Condition, Efficient, and Dependable Business Environment.
