St. George is a city in and the county seat of Washington County, Utah, United States. The City was settled in 1861 as a cotton mission, earning it the nickname Dixie, whereas the crop never became a self-made artifact, the realm steadily grew in the population of Approximately 2000 and 2005. St. George emerged because of the fastest-growing metropolitan space within the US. The mission statement for the city of St. George's Energy Services Department (SGESD) is to produce safe, affordable, and reliable energy. SGESD presently has 59 staff and serves just about 28,000 customers. St. George is the population and commercial center of Utah's Dixie, the northern part of the city with two peaks is covered with lava rock in the city's center.
