City Year is a member of the AmeriCorps national service network and City Year AmeriCorps members serve full time in high need urban schools by providing students, classroom, and school wide support to help students stay in school to prepare for career success. City Year has a long-term impact strategy to increase the urban graduation and transform the future of many students countrywide. 900 staff and 3,000 AmeriCorps members serve in 28 communities throughout the country. City Year is also working in South Africa and the United Kingdom. City Year is a public - private partnership resourced from schools, school districts, local, state, and federal governments. City Year has been recognized by Charity Navigator as a 4-star charity for 10 consecutive years.

I was told that they,my wife works at that they do not hire married couples but, there is a couple that work there and on the same shift.It is possible or not.

I think it depends on the individual situation, and if the couple is maintaining professionalism. My husband and I worked together on the same shift many times, and customers had no idea we were married.
