Claflin University is a private historically black university, and it is located in Orangeburg, South Carolina. It was established in 1869, and it's President is Dr Dwaun Warmack. It was formed after the American Civil War by the northern missionaries for the education of freedmen and their children. It is affiliated with United Methodist Church. The university has almost 1900 and Endowment of almost $203 M. Claflin University offers students bachelor's and master's degrees. The University works on the motto of 'The World Needs Visionaries'.
