About Claims Representative

What does a Claims Representative do?

As Claims Representatives, we are responsible for overseeing the operations of claim filing and issuance. We coordinate with customers, insurance agents, and other personnel concerned with the claim. It is our job to determine claim coverage and the loss by conducting investigations. We are also responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of a claim. It is our job to assist the supervisor to assist the design and implementation of improved services for claim settlement. We evaluate a filed claim to make sure all the requirements are met. In case of any missing requirement and occurrence of any issues in the claim, we coordinate with the agent and customer for resolving such issues.

Core tasks:

  • assess filed claims to verify fulfilment of requirements
  • coordinate with insurance agents and customers for effective claim settlement
  • track the claim from filing to settlement for any conflicts and resolve them on immediate basis
  • ensure completion of necessary paperwork and maintain record of all operations concerning a claim
