As Claims Supervisors, we are responsible for providing daily support to claim staff on filing claims and managing activities. We ensure that the claims staff adhere to the standard operating procedures and state regulations. We investigate insurance cover, settlement negotiation, and liability analysis. We develop professionally accepted practices in the insurance industry to optimize the quality of claim processing. The other duties assigned to us are: evaluating the professional skills of claim staff, provision of correct claim assignment to staff, establishing expense reserves, approve coverage denials, and confirm the settlement amounts. We assist in hiring and training new members of staff.
