Working at Clark University was my first experience working for college student.. it gave me a lot of experience. Working with college students. And good customer service

Pros: 1. The university has a huge reputation in some disciplines and I was really happy to join such a prestigious institution. Cons: 2. The insurance is extremely expensive. Especially if you want to cover your family the university does not offer many options. The insurance (Harvard Pilgrim) does not apply any difference between a family of 6 or just a couple without children. Having one kid I felt I was paying for a family of 5 when compared to other institutions. 3. The university is in the process of passing from years of bad management to decent management. In between, you, your department, and your priorities might not end up in the managerial priorities. 4. You do not receive much recognition 5. Students are pampered and the general culture is to not raise the bar for students. 6. There are students who need significant help because many courses do not require an appropriate background 7. The housing is a disaster in Worcester. Prepare yourself to suffer!
