Cleantech Open has aided over 1,500 early-stage cleantech innovators since 2006, assisting them in developing business models, attracting investors, and securing initial customers. Over 150 companies take part in the Cleantech Open US, Global Climate Innovation, or Global Ideas initiatives each year. Once a year, the top innovators from all of these programs come together to celebrate their achievements and contributions to the creation of a green global economy that is inclusive and sustainable. Cleantech Open's annual business competition and accelerator program connects cleantech companies with the people and resources that can help them succeed, as well as providing a national platform for public exposure. CTO's one-of-a-kind innovation ecosystem, which has been developed over the course of 11 years of programming, includes important cleantech innovation hubs in the United States and around the world. There are a variety of ways to help as a non-profit organization managed primarily by volunteers.
