Long term employee of Clear Channel Communications. A family run company when I was hired. From CEO on down we were treated as essential to the success of the company. Company culture changed after merger with Jacor. Market Managers became chess pieces to be moved around the board or discarded as needed. Initial hire was inspiring, Regional Manager was supportive and helpful. All that fell away after the merger. Regional Managers were shuffled around, Legacy CCC market managers were systematically replaced with Jacor managers. The company became very top down driven. Expenses were ordered cut primarily by eliminating personnel.
