Clemson University is a leading public, land-grant research university which is located in Clemson, South Carolina. The University that was formerly known as Clemon Agriculture College of South Carolina was founded in 1889 by Thomas Green Clemson. Clemson consists of seven colleges which includes Agriculture, Forestry and Life Science, Architecture, Arts and Humanities, Business, Behavioral, Social and Health Science, Education, Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences and Science. Clemson University is headed by James P. Clements as the President. The university enrolled a total of 20,195 undergraduate students and 5,627 graduate students for the fall 2019 semester. The University focuses on education for highly motivated and academically talented students. Clemson’s newest college is the college of Education which is centered in the famous Tillman Hall with an enrollment of about 600 undergraduate and graduate students. The University ranked 29th for 2021 among all nationals public U.S Universities according to U.S News and World Report.
