As Clinical Administrative Coordinators, we are responsible for monitoring day to day operations of an assigned unit or section within a hospital. We schedule employee work hours and ensure admitting and discharge functions are providing optimal patient flow. We maintain employee schedules, allocate hospital resources, and provide support to medical staff. Managing administrative intake of members and processing incoming and outgoing referrals is one of our main responsibilities. We assist the clinical staff with setting up documents for a clinical coverage review. We also handle queries from members and providers.
