About Clinical Associate

What does a Clinical Associate do?

As Clinical associates, we work under the physician's direction to assess patients, make diagnoses, administer medication and perform minor procedures. We help and support clinical centres in the short and long term in improving operating practices and regulations. Some of us review protocols that are appropriate and compliant with state and federal legislation. We manage clinical reports and provide suggestions for changes to clinical practices and processes. We often review emergency cases and refer them to a nearby healthcare facility if they fall outside the expertise area.
