About Clinical Director

What does a Clinical Director do?

As Clinical Directors, we oversee the clinical team. We track and monitor the delivery of clinical supports and the implementation of clinical programming. We ensure consistent, engaging, and relevant services are delivered to the individuals served. We participate in programmatic meetings regarding program development and policies. We establish liaisons with consulting staff (physicians, psychologists, etc.). We mentor to ensure coordinated service delivery to individuals served. We oversee the implementation of all clinical services. We assure standards and practices are in compliance with both internal policies as well as external regulations. We assess clinical support options for specialty programs. We also develop strategies to implement identified options.

Core tasks:

  • oversee licensing compliance for all clinical supports
  • ensure adherence to accreditation standards
  • provide training and clinical support to an assigned team of Clinical Leaders
  • assure accurate record-keeping for all clinical services
  • document assessments, progress, and activity
  • review records to stay abreast of changes in service plans
  • complete billing documentation as applicable
