About Clinical Education Specialist

What does a Clinical Education Specialist do?

As Clinical Education Specialists, we help plan, design, and administer the curriculum for continuing education programs that nurses and doctors must take throughout their careers. We perform a variety of assessments at our facility to determine what types of education the co-workers need, then design courses that will provide them with the proper training and education. We also help the human resource professionals in choosing the best fit incoming employees. We also research to determine what subject matter the medical personnel need to learn like when there are now tools or technologies to keep them updated.

Core tasks:

  • help human resource professionals hire health workers
  • train healthcare worker to use new technologies
  • assess the training needs of healthcare workers
