About Clinical Nutrition Manager

What does a Clinical Nutrition Manager do?

As Clinical Nutrition Managers, we prepare, organize, coordinate, and oversee clinical nutrition research and personnel activities. Our primary roles include leading and maintaining related teams, activities, and services; designing guidelines and tracking the registered dietitian nutritionist(s) performance for protection, effectiveness, and evidence-based training; and establishing standards. We create a framework for collecting and disseminating clinical nutrition outcomes research, as well as reviewing and updating policies and procedures.

Core tasks:

  • build and manage policies, standards, and programs to ensure that residents receive the best, most cost-effective nutrition care possible
  • establish and sustain standard operating procedures for clinical nutrition
  • in a timely fashion, respond to both external and internal customer care issues
  • create and supervise practice assessments to ensure that optimal procedures and/or results are accomplished
