About Clinical Research Associate

What does a Clinical Research Associate do?

As Clinical Research Associates, we are tasked with creating and developing various trial protocols and present them to the steering committee before submitting and implementing them throughout the clinic’s departments. We identify and evaluate current trial sites and close some sites down as appropriate after the trial’s completion while ensuring that the site is clean and sterile to avoid potential environmental pollution. We are also tasked with training and coaching site staff on therapeutic areas, proper source documentation, protocol requirements, and case report form completion.

Core tasks:

  • coordinate with the ethics committee when required
  • track and manage trial materials and IPs
