As clinical social workers, we work with clients from different walks of life and ease them through mentally challenging times. We assist them in getting the proper resources to receive the care they require to maintain quality of life. Liaising between caregivers and people in the psychology and health professions is also our duty. Our responsibilities include helping patients develop coping techniques, assessing their needs, and assisting them in their treatment plans. Some of us offer bereavement counseling and administer social service programs.
