About Clinical Trial Manager

What does a Clinical Trial Manager do?

As Clinical Trial Managers, we execute and oversee clinical trials in an organization. We are responsible for overseeing and guiding Clinical Data Managers and Clinical Research Associates. As Clinical Trial Managers, we report to the project managers. Our role demands us to oversee and implement projects, and ensure the quality of trials. Collaborating with the project managers, we analyze budgets and make project outlines. We also supervise and guide clinical monitoring teams. We also write concluding technical reports.

Core tasks:

  • create and implement clinical monitoring equipment and documents
  • develop and oversee the trial budgets
  • identify, enlist, and choose sites, and organize site management actions
  • managing and supervising clinical monitoring staff
  • provide all the on-site staff with project-specific training and meet them regularly
