The Cloud Engineering Manager will be responsible for the cloud engineering team who perform application maintenance and user administration in support of core business functions. Additionally, the manager will also function as a senior cloud engineer who will address and evaluate end user needs and work from a Zendesk ticketing system. Technical team management and operations management are expected.
+ Manages a team of cloud engineers who are responsible for the operations of all cloud infrastructure and data operations
+ Leads the efforts to track and resolve issues with all infrastructure and software vendors
+ Interfaces with application development leadership to ensure operational requirements are being met
+ Assists in the day-to-day operation of cloud networks including hardware/software support, training, and special projects; assists in the implementation of data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems
+ Assists in maintaining end user documentation for hardware/software applications, support logs and other related information; researches and recommends project related network and server hardware and software
+ Monitors event logs to ensure security of data and access privileges; installs, supports and maintains both physical and virtual network servers and appliances
+ Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots network storage; establishes and maintains user accounts, profiles, file and print sharing, access privileges and security
+ Directs cloud engineers to research, analyze, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve server problems
+ Researches and evaluates new technologies related to Azure Cloud Computing
+ Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with cloud infrastructure or COTS software
+ Manages all trouble tickets assigned to the team and ensures cases are resolved in accordance with SLAs
+ Education: Associate degree related to computer and information sciences or 1 year of relevant experience
+ Experience in a technical discipline such as database development and design, web page development and design, program/project management, software coding/programming/development/design, or network security analysis and design

+ Experience in data analysis and report development

+ Management of a technical team
+ Has developed, architected and maintained a Microsoft Azure for Government (MAG) cloud environment for a federal government entity
+ Advanced knowledge and experience with at least some of the following Microsoft tools and technologies; Azure & Azure for Government (MAG), IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server, Dynamics CRM
+ Responsibility for the design, implementation and management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments via Azure DevOps
+ Expertise with shell scripting, Powershell, Azure CLI and Bash
+ Experience leading cloud migrations, preferably to a Microsoft Azure environment
+ Experience managing tasks and accomplishments in relation to cloud initiatives and projects
+ Experience with the creation, management, maintenance and cleanup of cloud hosted servers
+ Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory and Azure Managed Instance
