The
Credentialing, License and Privileging (CLP) Auditor
is responsible for supporting the CLP team by auditing provider application, credentialing database, and provider electronic file. This position will be responsible for completing audits, providing audit reports to management, and participate in process or compliance conversations related to audit results. The CLP Auditor will report directly to the Credentialing Manager.
Responsibilities:
Audit provider applications for accuracy
Audit all data in credentialing database and electronic file for accuracy
Identifies, documents, and reports errors in a timely manner to ensure prompt resolution.
Review/verify audit corrections
Tracks audit results and provides feedback to management
Generates monthly reports of audit findings and produces other reports as requested
Review audit findings with staff and management as necessary
Assist with staff training as needed
Provide feedback on processes based on conversations and questions from CLP team
Maintain professional communication with both internal and external customers
Maintain strict confidentiality of all provider files
Other duties as assigned
Experience
Required
- At least two years of experience working in the telemedicine industry in Credentialing or Privileging
- Experience with Joint Commission accreditation standards
Education
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in healthcare staffing
Preferred
- Bachelors or Associates degree
- CPCS and/or CPMSM Certification
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and web-based applications
- Professional written and verbal communication skills and ability
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and proven accuracy with record-keeping
- Requires ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain timely records
- Requires ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers
- Must be a self-starter, energetic, organized, a fast learner and thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
