About Coding Educator

What does a Coding Educator do?

We, the coding educators, are responsible to lead training sessions on coding information and current billing in the medical field. Our responsibilities include the development of curriculum and training handbook, creating presentations, performing reviews regarding quality assurance and to assess comprehension of training efforts, and organizing & participating in reimbursement and coding meeting. We also review and respond to various coding questions, while we research to have updated coding information.

Core tasks:

  • providing quality healthcare services with a passion to make lives better
  • engaging, growing, and empowering employees
  • maintaining an atmosphere of quality and caring the cascades throughout the company
  • ensuring billed service is accurately recorded
