Believing that a college education can transform lives, College Possible is among the largest non-profit college access and successful organizations in the country. The organization believes that by providing students with a platform to gain access to higher education and thrive through college in the era of broad systematic challenges, the organization can truly impact the world. The degrees divide is influenced by racial background and income, not by academic interests and talents. The organization provides results and goals driven program assisting students from all backgrounds to get into college and persist through graduation. Such programming is also supported by training, recruiting, and motivating recent college graduates serving through AmeriCorps as near-peer coaches. The organization operates on a mission to bridge the degree divide and make college possible for students from low-income backgrounds through an intensive curriculum of support as well as coaching.
