Collin College has grown to accommodate over 59,000 credit and continued education students per year since it began providing courses at local high schools in 1985. The county's only public college, the college provides various degrees and certificates in a variety of fields, including the recent Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) in Cybersecurity degrees.
