With five schools and around 3,200 Pre K-12 students, CHPS is a small, varied district. Every student in Columbia Heights Public Schools is focused on development leading to college and career-Ready Graduates. The school district is governed by an elected School Board whose primary responsibility is to govern. The Superintendent of Schools, who reports to the School Board, is in charge of the District's day-to-day operations. The district is large enough to offer a diverse range of educational options while being small enough for administrators, teachers, parents, and students to get to know one another and feel a sense of belonging. They are looking for talented individuals against the posts of a life-guard, community education interpreter, adventure club assistant and many more.
