Established in 1879, The Columbus College of Art and Design is ranked among the oldest non-profit colleges in the United States in the domain of arts and design, and in 2020 the College celebrated 142 years of creative and academic excellence. The College offers 12 Bachelor of Fine Arts programs and a master’s program in arts and design equipping the graduates with the required arsenal in the domain of designing prompting them to achieve success at the highest level. Famously, Oscar Wilde during a short stay in Columbus in 1882 remarked that he was impressed that the capital city of Ohio had its own fine arts school.
