What does a Commercial Lines Account Manager do?

As Commercial Lines Account Managers, we manage commercial accounts on a day-to-day basis, including coordinating their services, answering all questions, and resolving their customers’ issues. We maintain well-documented procedures that show the account’s completeness when coordinating with agencies, clients, and company personnel. We also secure the most appropriate carrier coverage for clients based upon their specified needs for new and renewal business. We determine the best client service support for existing and new clients after analyzing their questions and inquiries.

  • maintain strong relationships with carrier product supervisors
  • understand and document the prospect’s needs
