Job Description
Our firm:
Capstone Realty Advisors is a successful, rapidly expanding commercial real estate firm dedicated to representing companies in all phases of real estate including retail, office relocation, lease renewal representation and subleasing. We are poised for growth and currently seeking an industrious, self-motivated and experienced commercial real estate broker / salesperson to join our high performing team who have combined experience of over 75 years.
Responsibilities include:
- Building your network of potential clients and influencers through foot canvassing, networking, email and cold calling
- Collaborating and partnering with other agents in the office for the leasing of listed properties
- Preparing pertinent documents including real estate listing agreements, letters of intent for leases and purchase and sale documents
- Managing and tracking all leads and maintaining Outlook calendar
- Scheduling on-site meetings with prospective office and retail tenants.

- Has two (2) years experience within the commercial real estate industry as a tenant rep broker
- Must enjoy working in a collaborative team-oriented environment
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Have strong organizational and time management skills
- Has demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
- Must be tenacious and have an entrepreneurial spirit
- Bachelor s degree required
- New York State Real Estate License

TASKS
- Prepare documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds, and leases.
- Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration.
- Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other.
- Generate lists of properties that are compatible with buyers' needs and financial resources.

KNOWLEDGE
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
