About Community Ambassador

What does a Community Ambassador do?

As Community Ambassadors, we are responsible for engaging with communities, raising awareness, and supporting the development and delivery of community of engagement workshops. We support community awareness events and encourage grassroots and community membership programs. Gathering information on issues raised by communities and developing effective community programs for those issues is one of our main responsibilities. We assist in the operation and delivery of community programs and events. Working as Community Ambassadors, we assist the recreation program coordinator with various tasks including special events and promotion activities. We review and complete incident reports and report to the recreation program coordinator.

  • promote fundraising campaigns
  • promote and participate in community awareness programs
