The Community Association Institute is an international membership organization dedicated to building a better community. CAI has more than 40,000 members, as well as 64 chapters around the world, including Canada, the Middle East and South Africa. It has also established relationships with housing leaders in many other countries, including Australia and the United Kingdom. CAI provides information, education and resources to volunteer homeowners who manage the community and professionals who support the community. CAI members include members of the association’s board of directors and other homeowner leaders, as well as professionals who provide products and services to the association. CAI raises the level of excellence by holding seminars, workshops, conferences and educational programs to provide services to community associations and homeowners, most of which provide professional qualifications for community managers and other industry professionals. They also publish the largest collection of resources on the management and governance of community associations, including website content, books, guides, Common Ground magazines and professional newsletters.
