What does a Community Health Worker do?

Functioning as Community Health Workers, we are responsible for overseeing immunizations or other basic precautionary treatments. Our responsibility is to advise clients or community groups on issues related to diagnostic screenings. We are accountable for giving instructions to families on issues related to improving general health. In the role of Community Health Workers, we have the responsibility to recommend the clients on issues related to self-care, such as diabetes management. Our role is to manage updated client records with plans or related information. We analyze the particular health care needs of individuals in target areas.
