The Clinton-Eaton-Ingham Counties (CMHB) Community Mental Health Board was established in 1964, initially serving Lansing as a federally funded community mental health facility. The Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties (CMHA-CEI) Regional Mental Health Authority is a governmental agency representing residents in Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham. As an Extension Grant to the Accredited Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), CMHA-CEI provides a full range of programs used to expand access to care, assist individuals in need and offer therapy, regardless of their insurance policy, for those with the most severe and nuanced behavioral health needs. The CCBHC provides new programs focused on rehabilitation, wellbeing, trauma-informed nursing, and incorporation of physical-behavioral health care. Apart from this, it provides career opportunities to job seekers and benefits to the employees.
