About Community Support Associate

What does a Community Support Associate do?

As community support specialists, we design and offer assistance to community members requiring public assistance. We provide services of child care and programs for mentally ill persons. Our responsibilities include picking up and dropping from appointments, carrying different activities as well as home visits. Maintaining program and customer records properly are also part our job. We look after the social well-being of vulnerable ones by assisting them with day-to-day tasks.

Core tasks:

  • providing assistance to individuals needing financial help emergency assistance, and other forms of public help
  • accompanying customers to community activities when necessary to make sure their requirements are properly met
  • offering customers’ information and advice regarding food stamps, child care services, and proper financial management
