About Compliance Analyst

What does a Compliance Analyst do?

As Compliance Analysts, we review and escalate any potential alerts for continuous sanctions. We ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices. While playing a part in building a ‘culture of compliance, we work to contribute to this culture. We are responsible for implementing and monitoring a risk-based compliance program. It is our duty to assure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements. We also provide oversight of compliance functions. We participate in and provide compliance consulting and support for projects and initiatives. We identify and mitigate regulatory risk in business activities.

Core tasks:

  • implement compliance testing strategies and methodologies
  • evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies
  • identify issues related to internal and external compliance examinations
  • assist in drafting corrective action plans
  • manage change to ensure regulatory compliance
  • provide input for the development of training materials
  • draft report of recommendations for compliance risk management
  • coordinate production of periodic compliance performance reports
